In loving memory of Ian John Davis who sadly passed away on 16th July 2024.

Ian was a wonderful and much loved husband, daddy, brother, brother in law, son in law, nephew, cousin and friend.

He will be fondly remembered for his love for life and his family, his cheeky smile and humour, his love for music and playing his guitars and his highs and lows in following Sheffield United!

Ian will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.

Ian’s funeral will be held at Gedling Crematorium, Gedling. The wake will be held at The Lambley pub nearby and Ian’s family would like to invite you all to join them in celebrating Ian’s life.

The family has kindly requested no flowers, however if you would like to make a donation, their chosen charities are:

1) Brain Tumour Research - Ian wanted to help fundraise towards finding a cure against this devastating disease, and

2) Haywood House hospice at Nottingham City Hospital. Whilst Ian was able to spend his final weeks at home with Claire, Martha and Alice, this was with invaluable care and support from the palliative care team at Haywood House.

You brought so much laughter and joy - and 80s tunes - and special guitar playing - to so many lives. I’m so grateful to call you my friend. And I’ll be there for Claire, Martha and Alice. Lots of love to you Ian … xx
