In loving memory of Irene Ann Lightfoot who sadly passed away on 23rd July 2024. Irene Ann Reynolds, born on 18th August 1946, lived a life full of resilience and love. Growing up in Eastling, she cherished her childhood despite early health issues. At 11, she moved to Faversham for school and later to Odiham, where she worked in the RAF mess with her aunt. There, she met her lifelong love, John Lightfoot. They married on 18th August 1966 and were blessed with three sons: Patrick, Anthony, and Stuart. The family eventually settled in Faversham, where John worked at Bowater’s Papermill and Irene nurtured their home and later worked at a local fruit factory. Irene’s legacy of strength and love continued through her roles as a beloved nan, great-nan, and great-great-nan, touching the lives of many generations.

To my beautiful Nan, my best friend. May you rest in heavenly peace and soar high with Grandad. You were the most precious person in my life. The memories we created over the past 24 years are unparalleled. We've shared so many wonderful times which I will cherish forever. I look forward to reliving with you both someday. Rest in heavenly peace, my dearest friend. Until we meet again.
