Vera Marshall (10 Oct 1926 - 22 Jul 2024)

In celebration of the life of Vera Marshall, a beloved sister, mum, mother-in-law and nana, who passed away at the age of 97. She was the most magnificent person, a force of nature who brightened life just by being there. She has left a very large gap for someone so small but she will be a part of us always.

Vera’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, 15th August at 14.30 at the Surrey & Sussex Crematorium, during which we will remember her life and share our memories of her.

Vera asked for this day to be a celebration of her long life. She always said that she had a good life, surrounded by family and friends, right up until the end. Vera specifically requested that people should wear bright, ‘joyful’ colours to celebrate this.

We hope that many of you will be able to come. If at all possible, could you please contact either Andy or Lisa to let us know that you will be attending or leave your name on this page. Vera requested family flowers only but donations may be made in her memory to WaterAid or Save the Children.
