Peter Michael Osborne (22 Mar 1959 - 14 Jul 2024)

As his 'lad' in the early 90s at Gleeds, he was the best mentor you could ever wish for, a cracking laugh and full of character. Thank you for everything Oz. See you on the FP.

I have great memories of working with Pete at Gleeds in the 80's, particularly the customary Friday lunchtime beer or two. Unfortunately lost contact in more recent times and now gone too soon. Cheers Pete

In the years I worked with Pete, he brought a smile to my face nearly every day. He was a beautiful human.

Pete was such a lovely man and a real character. We have so many fond memories of lots of happy hours and laughter together (usually with a few beers). He will be sadly missed and always remembered. Our thoughts and much love are with Lorraine and Max.

Pete, so sorry to hear you are gone too soon. Always enjoyed talking to you. You always made time for me, no matter how busy you were, whether to help with work or to discuss parenting boys. Rest in peace, lovely man.

Pete, you were a much-loved colleague, friend, and an inspiration to everyone you came into contact with in the Nottingham office, and beyond. It has been great to stay in touch during your retirement for a catch-up over a beer or three!
Just sorry we can't do that anymore, but rest assured we will continue to raise a beer to you.
Loved working with you over the years, chatting over a coffee, and I can't thank you enough for the advice you have given me over the years. RIP Pete.

An incredibly kind man with a great sense of humour. I enjoyed his company so much, whether that be around the office or in the pub for a quick pint or two after work. Sitting directly behind each other at Pearl house for a few years, I am grateful to have shared many laughs with Pete as well as his recollections of his time spent at Gleeds where we shared acquaintances and stories. I take pride in him describing me as “not bad” the last time I saw him, he wasn’t bad either, he was a top bloke.

Farewell Ozz, thanks for being such a wonderful friend and colleague , will miss you .
