Such sad news, Ron was a huge influential figure and supporter in my voluntary work and career in The Boys' Brigade and I was lucky to have been able to catch up with him earlier this year. As a young person growing up through the Battalion, as a Vice President alongside Ron as President and as the Brigades Development and Engagement Manager, Ron has been there to help guide, encourage and support and he will be missed greatly by myself and many others who owe a debt of gratitude to his love and selfless support to our movement. Ron always placed the young people of the brigade at the heart of everything he did and never stood still, always working to evolve and develop the Battalion he served to continue to support countless numbers of leaders and young people, bringing them to know Christ and imparting in me and them what it means to serve others. I will continue to serve the Brigade knowing Ron will continue to champion and support our movement from above. Love to Ron's Family and friends at this sad time. Vaughan
