Margaret and her husband Trevor were the first people to speak to us when we visited their church. They were so friendly and kind.
Some years later Malcolm volunteered with Trevor and Margaret, seeing them extend the same kindness and love to separated families.
Gabby has fond memories of spending time with Margaret in her beautiful garden, where they would enjoy a cup of tea and a custard cream.
Margaret had such a warm, loving personality and the most soothing voice. Listening to her reading from the Bible is one of my abiding memories of her, I could have listened for hours.
Margaret was a very special lady and will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Margaret’s family.
Malcolm, Sandra, Natasha, Callum & Gabby Parks x

Oh darling nana...you weren't my actual nana but there was no other name for you that fitted better! You were such a kind and gentle lady who really spoke in to my journey with a huge amount of love and inspiration in the way you believed but also in the way you believed in others. I will miss your hugs, your radiant smile and your kindness heart. Rest with Jesus until we meet again. H xx
