To a great brother who will be sorely missed; his humour may have been distinctive, his words of advice (or wisdom as he would call it) occasionally questionable but through everything, his love, positivity and courage have shone through and will stay with us forever.

A very happy baby, Colin grew up into a kind, generous and devoted father and husband. His career in the Royal Navy helped to strengthen his character which he maintained throughout his illness which he bore with positivity and stoicism to the end. A truly wonderful son to be immensely proud of. Mum xxx

Dearest Colin , I am so pleased we were able to have that final holiday together, despite your increasing frailty. Those days have given all of us some beautiful memories. You were a wonderful nephew and friend and we will miss you terribly.
