We met through sadness but together we got through and had many years of laughter and happiness. Thank you for your love and may you now rest in peace, pain free. xxx

Peter is very much missed. We had such good times diving in Scapa Flow, The Orkneys, Cornwall, the Red Sea and of course Weymouth and at many social events. Fond and happy memories

Donated in memory of Peter Taylor. In my diving days we never needed the RNLI but it was a pretty close run thing on certain occasions!!

Thank you Peter for your help and encouragement when I joined Ifield Divers all those years ago. Then you met Linda and got involved with CADS and Chaldon - more happy memories. Over the years we shared so much - both happy and sad but always your wonderful sense of humour came through. I am glad you found happiness again but now rest in peace.

We will always remember Peter as a gentle giant of a man with a big heart, warm smile and special twinkle in his eye. He (and John) were the best bartenders at CADS social events and he wasn’t afraid take to the stage when his talents were needed - thank you Liz for posting that lovely photo of him 🥰. Our condolences to James, Jo and all the family. RIP Peter.

I will remember Peter as an extraordinary person, and a good friend, who was always cheerful, optimistic, and had a great sense of humour. Above all he loved being around people. Best exemplified by his comparing of the annual Dive Club Dinner Dance, when he would hold the floor with an easy charm.

Peter was the life and soul and leading light of Ifield Divers for many years, always so cheerful and supportive to everyone and ready to attend to whatever needed sorting out or arranging - particularly the annual dinner dances and other social events, he will be greatly missed by everyone at the club.

Dear Peter, Thank you for being the perfect unofficial ‘father-in-law’ to me. I will always treasure the love and care you showed towards me and my girls. With love from Jo xxxxxx
