So sorry to hear about Rob. I worked with him at Bradford South & West PCT (along with Sue Robins). Initially we were Locality Nurse Leaders. Whilst we worked hard and took seriously the care of patients and the wellbeing of our staff, much of the rest of our time together was spent laughing! Rob was funny, compassionate and kind. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jill, Kate, and Alice. Rest in peace Rob. x

Condolences to Mrs O’Connell and family on the sad passing of Rob, a most kind and decent man. Rob was my manager at NHS Leeds CCG where he held patients and their families at the heart of everything he did. He was great fun to work alongside as well as being kind and supportive. During the long months of the covid pandemic lockdown he kept our team spirit together online, checking on our wellbeing several times each week. He regaled us with a cheery tale and shared insights from Radio 4 Tweet of the Day. I will remember Rob as a person of integrity, wit, humility and kindness. He was the very best of people who lived and demonstrated the values of the NHS each day he came to work. Thank you Rob. May he rest in peace.

I worked with Rob in Bradford and Leeds and he was a great nurse leader and manager. He had a brilliant sense of humour, was kind and thoughtful and made a huge difference improving patient care. We thought the world of him in our team and had some hilarious nights out. He always spoke with love and pride of all his family and I have nothing but happy memories of being in his company . He will be sadly missed but leaves a legacy of being of a great friend and making a difference improving care in the NHS.
