In loving memory of Lyndall Rosewarne who passed away on 1st July 2024.
In both good times and in the face of adversity, Lyndall's life was full with family, friendship, pets, adventure, challenging injustice, endless creativity, and a deep connection to the natural world (especially from the back of a horse!).
She lived her life fully, wholeheartedly, and joyfully. We are proud of her and will miss her forever, with love.
In accordance with Lyndall's wishes there will be a memorial event at 2:30pm on 31st July at the Minories Gallery in Colchester. Dress code: colour. All are welcome - please RSVP to Esther or Conni, or click 'attending' on this site.

I was so sad to read the news of Lyndall's passing. She was a valued colleague and friend. She did so much for Music Education in the Eastern Region and beyond! My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

Unfortunately I cannot come to the memorial. Lyndall was a very valuable member of our writing group (the Friday Friends) until new writing adventures beckoned for her. I have missed her in the group and will continue to miss her. I was always pleased when she could attend, since I would get to read another instalment of her lovely, thoughtful and layered writing and knew that I’d be getting some excellent feedback to my own contributions. But what I will miss most is the particular atmosphere of Lyndall-ness she (in my personal experience) brought to meetings, which I cannot put into words. The way she laughed, was private, a bit stern in a kind way - I can feel and picture it, but not describe it properly. My deepest sympathies to all those who loved her.
