In loving memory of Fred Brown who sadly passed away on 23rd June 2024
Fred was born in Bury, Greater Manchester on 23 December 1930 and died in an end of life unit in a nursing home in Benfleet, Essex on 23 June 2024.
He was a very active man right up until his nineties' and lived completely independently until illnesses took hold in September 2023. He was a lover of singing, bowls, gardening and hiking.

He was a humanist, so in accordance with his wishes there will be no religious part of this short, simple ceremony. Fred expressly did not want flowers at his funeral other than from immediate family. However he would have been delighted if people were able to donate to one of his chosen charities in his memory.
Please note, there will not be a reception due to the early time of the funeral.
