Noel McCann (Passed away 26 Jun 2024)

It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved Father, Noel McCann.

Noel; loving father, brother, husband, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on 26th June 2024 aged 68, with his daughter Maisie by his side.

Throughout his life, Noel, a keen sportsman, with a passion for rugby and running, constantly strived to better himself and support those around him. He was truly a man of many talents, from performing on stage to comparing and entertaining he gave everything his all, including his ‘dad jokes’! A keen historian, in the last few years of his life, Noel found solitude in researching his Irish heritage, with many trips to see family and friends in Portadown and beyond. Noel took great comfort in knowing that the McCann heritage was strong across the globe.

Noel cherished his family and leaves behind his two children, Joe and Maisie and his wife Rachel.

Noel will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His laughter, wisdom, and keen sense of humour will be remembered forever in our hearts. He was forever the joker, always ready to put a smile on a face.

A funeral service will be held on 24th July 2024 at Semington Crematorium at 11:45am followed by a wake at The Kings Arms, Melksham. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to
