Hetton-le-Hole

Peacefully with loved ones at her side on July 5th aged 85 years, Joan (née McGuire). The beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tot). The much-loved mam of Denise, Sonia, Sharon, Wayne and a loving mother-in-law. An adored nanna and great-nanna, a dear sister and good friend. Sadly missed.

Family and friends please meet on Friday July 19th for service in Sunderland Crematorium at 1:00pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for Cancer Research. A donation box will be available in the crematorium. Please join the family afterwards in The Mill, Houghton-le-Spring for refreshments.

I loved working with Joan at the University, she was a grafter and used to have us all in stitches as she was so funny. I have wonderful memories of the Christmas party's.
