Nan, I remember our summers with you and Grandad and going up ‘the forties’ to look for rabbits and damson fruit picking. Every Tuesday you took us into West Malling for the shopping, but always stopped in at the bakery which was on the corner but never got anything yourself. On the bus you chatted and laughed with your friends, especially Joan. Over the years, you’ve watched us grow up and become parents to our beautiful children, you’re great grandchildren. I only wish you were still with us to watch our children grow up, but I know you’ll always be looking down at us. I’ll continue to tell my boys of our summers and the fun we had. Thank you for being my Nan and always being there for me. Ryarsh will never be the same without you. Say hi to Grandad for me and give him a big hug and kiss. I’ll miss you and love you forever, Sleep well now Nan. ‘That Ryan, the baby (Jesse who’s now 5) and baby Casey’ love you.
