On 8th July 2024 we sadly lost our beloved husband, dad and grandad after a short battle with leukaemia. He was a much loved part of the whole family and friend to many.

Although we are all heartbroken, in way it was a blessing, as although his spirit and love for life wasn’t broken, his body and strength sadly was. His cheeky smile and sense of humour remained to the end and we miss him dearly, but take comfort that he was at home surrounded by his loved ones and is now at peace.

We request immediate family flowers only and if you would like to make a donation in Jim’s memory we have chosen Air Ambulance which is a charity he always supported.

I wanted to take a moment to express how much I will miss you. You were not only the best father-in-law I could have asked for, but you were also a role model for Steve. He always looked up to you and admired your strength, your kindness, and your unwavering love for your family.

You were a true gentleman, and your legacy will live on through your children, grandchild and all your family. We will always be so proud of you and the life you lived. You were a man of integrity, and you always put your family first.

I will miss your cheeky big smile and your sense of humour. I will miss hearing you hum or sing around the house, and I will miss the way you made everyone feel so loved and welcomed. You made me feel like another daughter in the family, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Your passing has left a void in our lives, but we will always cherish the memories we have of you. You were a true blessing, and we will never forget the impact you had on our lives.

Sweet dreams. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I was only in Jim and Yvonne's lives in fleeting moments, when calling round to ask if Steve was "playing". Later, Jim taught us (stopped us running riot) at BB, but in the times we spent with him we learned respect, honesty and integrity. The rest of the time was just fun.
Jim's passing is a great loss. They don't often make em like that anymore !
My love and hugs go to Yvonne, Jo, Steve and the rest of the extended family. He's gone but not forgotten. X

Dad, you were my hero, my role model and I am lost without you. You taught me so much about life and the importance of being true to myself. You showed me family is everything and to always put the ones you love first.
I will never forget the memories we shared together, the laughter, and how much I could see you loved me every time you looked at me. You were always there for me, no matter what, in good times and bad.
You welcomed Lorraine into the family with open arms and treated her like another daughter, for that I will always be grateful.

I know that you are no longer with us but you will always be in my heart, and I will miss the time we had together.

Rest in peace, Dad.

Love your boy
