Edwin Charles Wells, affectionately known as Ted, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born on July 16, 1948, in Inverness, UK, and resided in Pocklington, York, UK, before his passing.
Ted was a retired market trader, having dedicated many years to his profession. However, his true joys in life came from his hobbies, which included gardening and crafting. He found solace and contentment in nurturing his plants and creating beautiful crafts.
Above all else, Ted cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. Nothing brought him more joy than watching them grow and creating lasting memories with each of them. His love and devotion to his grandchildren were unmatched.
Inverness held a special place in Ted's heart, as it was his favorite location in the world. He often reminisced about the beauty of the city and its surroundings.
Ted was an outgoing and sociable individual who had a knack for making people smile. His good sense of humor and warm personality endeared him to all who knew him.
Ted leaves behind his loving spouse, Sandie Wells, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and adventures. He is also survived by his children, Caroline, Jon, and Jo, and his cherished grandchildren, Luke, Sienna, Summer, Ayden, TJ, Kiri-anne, Layla, and Marley.
Though Ted is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family, friends, and the community he touched with his kindness and laughter.
Such a lovely man, you will be missed Uncle Ted.
