In loving memory of Chris "444" Slatford who sadly passed away on 28th June 2024.

A much loved father, grandfather, brother, ex-husband and member of his local community.

***

We've selected Yorkshire Cat Rescue for any charity donations. Dad was a life-long cat lover who sheltered more moggies than I can remember (or even knew of) over the decades, and have absolutely no doubt this charity would be at the top of his list.

Thank you - Dan & Tim

Chris I can’t describe how much I’m missing you… I miss the daily conversations we used to have & the “surprise” chocolate on a Wednesday lunch time.
Have them clippers ready for me lad because you’re going to need a trim when we meet again.
I think about you daily, I miss you.
Love you lots, G 🩷

I knew your father very well and we were drinking partners in the OWB for nearly eight years. He was one of the best friends that I have ever had and I never heard him say a bad word about anybody. We were often compared to 'Statler and Waldorf' from the Muppet Show and Chris was a very funny but subtle man! We sometimes talked about old age and infirmaty and I know for sure that he would not want to have been incapacitated for any length of time. He was a caring loving man who often talked about his family.I shall miss him very much.
