In loving memory of Susan Mills who sadly passed away on 18th June 2024

The family of Susan Mills are devastated to announce her passing on 18th June 2024, after a brief hospital stay due to polycystic kidney disease, at the age of 65.

Sue passed away in Southend Hospital, and will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Chris Mills, of 22 years, her two children; Luke and Kirsty and her grandchildren.

Sue had recently become an ordained Reverend and was part of the clergy team for the Roach parishes, and was an avid horse rider until recent years…two of her proudest accomplishments.

The funeral service will be held on 16th July 2024 at St Andrews Church, Hall Road, Rochford at 12.15pm, followed by a short service at Southend Crematorium at 2pm, followed by a celebration of her life at Red Brick Barn in Rochford. All are welcome to attend. Flowers are welcome and any charitable donations to be made to the Renal Unit at Southend Hospital for taking such good care of Sue over many, many years.

RIP Sue. I was privileged to have know you when we worked together at Lloyds. I was so delighted when I heard you had become a Reverend. May God bless you and keep you safe in Eternity 🙏

Despite her many medical conditions, Sue never gave in. Her courage during everything she approached from training to work to hobbies and having a lovely family was amazing. She will be sorely missed. Love to Chris, Luke, Kirsty and families from the Goodhew family.
