In loving memory of Terence Stevens who sadly passed away on 26th June 2024.

Terry was a very loved Father, Grandad, son, brother, cousin and uncle. His children Keely and Michael and three grandchildren Ellis, Kyla and Faron will miss him very dearly and his passing will leave a hole in all of our lives forever.

Terry passed away in the night, in his home of 40 years from a heart condition he did not know he had. We take some comfort in the knowledge he didn’t have to worry about an illness he never knew he had but also sadness that it may have been helped if he did.

Terry’s funeral will be held on Friday 2nd August 2024 at 11am at Medway Crematorium, Robin Hood Ln, Blue Bell Hill, Chatham ME5 9QU.
The wake will follow at The Angel Pub, Station Rd, Rainham, ME8 7UH.

All are welcome but please could you let us know if you will be attending so we can plan ahead.

Flowers are a personal choice, but I’m pretty sure if you know our Dad, he’ll tell you not to waste your money 😊

Tomorrow we will be laying our Dad to rest at 11am at Medway crematorium and following on at The Angel Pub, Station Road Rainham. If you are coming please remember to come down Station road as the lower Rainham road is temporarily closed. The Angel pub does also have a small car park behind the pub that we are welcome to use, when you get to the bottom of station road turn left and ignoring the road closed signs to access the car park. See you all tomorrow xx

I worked at mfi for 23 years so that is how I knew Terry..
It was only a month or so I saw him and made him come back for a cuppa. He really enjoyed reminiscing and it was lovely to see him.
So sorry for your loss ❤️

Really sad to hear of Terrys passing. So many happy memories from the past be it working at MFI, playing darts, playing 5 a side, motor racing at Iwade or the Jam sessions when we used to hire Hempstead Village Hall when we tried to form a band. We had not spoken for about ten years, but the good memories remain.
RIP buddy

Life can never stay the same
No matter how we try
Our hands can never stop
The clock of life from ticking by
But love remains, unchanging
In the care of sorrowing hearts
For as the love of life is stilled
The love of memory starts
Rest in peace Terry

  • I have only just found out it was such a shock I have only seen Terry a few times over the years but we always said we’d catch up may be a while longer now mate. I always took heart back when we met at school in 72 that in our small group of friends I wasn’t the youngest cos you were a month younger than me I will miss you mate sing a song up there for us all.
