My beautiful, kind, warm and funny Mum, Christine Hiscocks, died on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 after being diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumour in May.
At the modest age of 72, and with so much more she wanted to do (in her words, “once I get this bloody knee fixed”) we are all filled with incredible sadness at the sudden loss of such an amazing woman, and the best Mum to Rosie & I.
As you all know, Mum loved boats and being near the sea and always admired the work of the RNLI (Saving Lives At Sea was one of her favourite TV programmes to watch!). I am therefore asking for donations to the RNLI in lieu of flowers and in memory of my wonderful Mum.
The funeral will be at 10.30am on Friday 19th July at Earlham Crematorium with a light buffet to follow afterwards at The Earlham pub. More details can be found on the drop downs above. All are welcome to both.
If you are attending the funeral, I know Mum would want everyone to feel comfortable in what they choose to wear, so please don't feel you have to wear black (but please do if you feel most comfortable in black). I'll definitely be digging out something colourful to remember Mum and her love of bright fashion!

I already miss my pal of 38yrs, we’ve shared many ups and downs, we’ve exasperated each other over the years but we’ve had so many laughs. Rest in peace my dear friend xx
