The inaugural Stavros Memorial golf day produced a few Bob from the 16 players that braved the elements last Friday. Considering the foul weather we had a great fun day and a huge thanks goes out to all of you. Hopefully Michael was looking down laughing at all of us getting soaked. 😂😂

Michael was a genuine gentleman with a cheeky smile and a cheeky sense of humour to match. He loved to have a little flutter in my shop and was always generous if he had a win. I will miss our little chats and hope he is picking a few winners up there x

Very sorry I can’t be there today to celebrate Michael’s life. I was lucky enough to work alongside Stav and on the “ other side” of the phone so to speak. Quite probably the most fondly thought of person in his chosen profession but also an absolute professional who took his job very seriously and was a mentor to myself and many. Outside of that I’m not sure I’ve laughed as much with anyone else. “ Under the clock at Waterloo at 11.. don’t be late” . I never was; he was always there first. My thoughts are with Liz and his 2 brothers, Horace and Spence.xx
