It is with great sadness that the Raymond family announces that their beloved Enid passed away peacefully at home among close family on Friday 14 June 2024.

Enid was the beloved wife of Ron, loving mum to David, Sian and Marie and her many grandchildren. We know Enid ‘Nid’ will be profoundly missed by all of her family and many friends.

We will be celebrating Enid’s life at 1.00pm on Thursday 11 July at Bretby Crematorium, details are linked. The family would appreciate you clicking on the 'attend funeral' button below if you are planning to join them.
There is an option to share your thoughts and, in lieu of flowers, make a donation to the St Giles Hospice, to acknowledge the wonderful care that their dedicated medical team and the supporting care team provided to Enid.

The family would love you to join them afterwards at Keeper’s Cottage, Bretby Park, Burton on Trent, DE15 0QG.

Nan was so welcoming and kind. With a wicked sense of humour, lover of a spelling or grammar Meme and lover of all things Welsh.
Rest in peace Nan, and Thankyou for the lovely memories you have left us all with. X

Enid was a wonderful lady with a kind spirit and energy. I met Enid and Ron many time over the years at family get-togethers (albeit many years since I have seen them) and I found that everyone who met Enid had lovely things to say about her. So sad Enid has passed and I send my best wishes and those from all our family to Ron, David, Sian and Marie as well as Enid's grandchildren.

Enid and Ray are the neighbours of my parents Mick and the late Mary Grist. Whenever I baked cakes I always used to visit Enid and Ray with a cake before visiting my parents, we used to have a natter and it was lovely. Enid was a lovely lady and will be sadly missed.
