In loving memory of David Stanley George Sandell, who sadly passed away on 22nd June 2024.
Dave was a wonderful husband, brilliant father to Louise, Julian, Vicky, Tom, Sam and Amy. He was also proud Grampy/Pa to Chris, Luke, Matthew, Lara, Oli, George, Freddy, Archie and Ayda. He cherished his sister, Carol and deeply missed his late brother Colin.
Dave took immense pride in all his nephews and nieces. His family was his world.
Dave found joy when playing his banjo and entertaining others, especially with his jazz band The Magnolia Serenaders.
He really enjoyed the camaraderie with his workmates when he was working on the tools, and treasured the times spent fishing with his sons and grandsons.
Dave was a larger-than-life character who lit up a room with his singing and storytelling.
Dave was my soulmate, my best friend, my rock. Losing him has left a big hole in my heart after 44 years of marriage (47 years together).
My love, you were my world, be at peace now. I hope you are with your Mum, Dad and Colin having a few pints and a laugh. ❤❤❤

Always remember our younger days
sledging, all night fishing, playing nap, going to the Seven Stars with your mum and dad, also your banjo playing in the band and at family parties. You will be sadly missed, have a few whiskies with John. Love to all the family x
