Geoffrey Frank Murdock (18 Dec 1934 - 27 Jun 2024)

Geoff was my father in law and my friend. He was a very special man. Both he and Shirley welcomed me into their family when I met Lynne and I am very grateful for that. Whether we were at home, in the pub, on holiday or anywhere he would always provide advice and opinions. He had a great sense of humour and made everyone laugh. Geoff helped me at my dad’s funeral when I was upset at Wilford Hill. He came outside to me and just said ‘ come on lad’ which is what I needed. Like so many others I will miss him dearly.

Wonderful memories of treasured times shared, you will be missed so much Geoff xx

Lovely memories of happy times in France. Always ready for a laugh. The biggest smile of all,the day you and Shirley caught a fish in our pool.

So very , very sorry to hear of Geoff’s passing, a really wonderful Dad and Grandad and all round family man with a great smile, a wonderful sense of humour and the love of all his family. We didn’t see him often but have shared some great times with him and his family and we will treasure those memories. Our love to all his family and friends who will hopefully be comforted by their own treasured memories xx
