Alexander McDicken Veitch sadly passed away on 24th June 2024. He was born on 25th September, 1941 in Cumnock, Ayrshire, the second child of Eric & Sadie Veitch. Alex had an older brother, George, and a younger sister, Nan who have both already sadly passed away.
The last couple of years have been very difficult for Alex but he has struggled through with great fortitude. Since he was diagnosed with cancer over 18 months ago his life had revolved around his regular fortnightly round of chemo treatments. . It was a terrible ordeal for anyone and very sad to see it gradually take it’s toll.
