Edna passed away at Queen's Hospital on 23rd June 2024, aged 89 years after illness bravely borne. Dearly loved mum of Graham and Linda, sister to Olive, treasured mother in law to Michelle, loving nan to Yasmin, Gary and Felicity, great nan to Harvey, Jack and Florence.

I have very many happy memories of times spent with you, particularly staying at your house when I was a child with Graham and Linda.

Rest in peace Auntie Edna. I have very fond childhood memories of visiting your house and you visiting ours when i was growing up. And more recent memories of when i would drive the villager bus and you would get on always armed with a bar of chocolate for me. You will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to know you.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to care for you over the last 4 years. Your strong character and beautiful smile will be truly missed. The ward clerk never came out of you , and you sorted us all out.

Thank you for not only being my nan, but truly an amazing friend, role model and inspiration. I hope that I can continue to see your strength in myself and make you proud.
