In loving memory of James Kerr who sadly passed away on 20th June 2024

He was born James Kerr 24th October 1941 to parents, Daniel & Elizabeth Kerr. He was brother to Mary, Isobel and James.

He married wife Ann on 3rd September 1965, who sadly passed away last year. He is survived by 2 daughters Alison and her husband Adam and Lorraine and her husband Steven.
Jim had 2 grandchildren; Jack & Kacey.

Jim was a family man and loved nothing more than spending time together with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren; creating wonderful memories filled with love, laughter, and light.

Jim loved sports, mainly football and tennis. He loved music and enjoyed listening to a wide variety of musical styles, his favourite singer was Frank Sinatra.

Despite his ill health, James continued to live life to the full as best he could. He remained positive and content with the life he had lived.

He will be greatly missed and since his passing, everyone that knew him has commented he was ‘such a true gentleman’, this perfectly sums him up.

Jim was one of the kindest ,thoughtful and respectful gentlemen I had the pleasure to ever meet and be grateful to call a dear friend.
Both Ann & Jim are very special people and both gave me great love and support with their family for many years .
Ann told me she had never heard Jim raise his voice or ever swear in their many years of marriage.
A small example of his visible class and dignity.
A truly wonderful couple .
One of life’s truly classic gentleman in every way.
I will miss you both .
Gary x
