If this is the lady I think it is then I wish to pass on my deepest condolences to Maureen, Rosemary, Joseph and all the family.
So sad to read of Patricia's passing. I remember her well and have many childhood memories spend with the Columb's in the Gorbals. I remember Patricia as an engaging woman, very friendy and happy to talk I used to meet her on the bus and while catching up on gossip she always spoke of her family, she was pround of them, I could tell and she always asked over our family too. I remember her as a very hard working woman and a good singer, good company and very sociable. She made we welcome in her home as a child and I remember her good dinners and the pie and gravy lunch specials. She was socially a friend of my mother's from the knitting bee's and we used to meet her ofter in the shopping precinct where she would chat for ages. In Oscar Marzaroli's book 'Glasgow's People 1958-1988'there is a few pictures, one where it features Patsy and my mother chatting in the shopping arcade Gorbals and one of her daughter Maureen playing in a puddle and another with myself in the snow flakes.I'm sure of it. Back then she was part of the local community. We called her Patsy. She had wonderful dark hair and brown eyes if I remember and as a child I always thought her glamourous and her jewellery dazzled me. She was a decent woman who ran a good home, she was always busy and looked after her family well. I remember well her Frank Sinatra records.
She was a lovely woman to me as a child. Many fond and vivid memories held.
RIP Patsy and best wishes to the family.
