My Grandma by Emma

"I will love you until the day that I die,
That was a line that I found in a song,
But then we had our last goodbye,
And I didn't know that I would write this poem,
So please follow along.

I remember her spoiling me rotten,
and my little dog, Rosie, too,
and I'll never let these memories be forgotten,
like when we would fight when I said 'I love you'.
Only because she would say 'I love you more'.

I remember when we would visit her house,
I would walk through the door,
and she would always gasp and smile like a cute, little, cheeky mouse.

We love you so much Grandma,
This world now feels really lonely,
I know you'll be looking after us from up there, but I mean it when I say this world now feels so bare"

Will miss you more than I can explain in words, you always made me smile, you always got the last word, or eye roll, but we all knew you loved your family fiercly, and how proud of Lisa, Lee and Emma you were and I loved being part of the family and will miss you deeply.

Gone but not forgotten, will love you always. Love Stan xxx
