Carmen, you were a flame that always burned brightly. There'll be less light and laughter in the world without you. So sorry to see you go so soon.

I was greatly saddened to here that Carmen is no longer with us. Carmen and I worked together in the Scottish Government for many years; she was highly skilled and creative and strongly focussed on service improvements to benefit patients. Carmen was generous with her time and expertise in supporting colleagues, always with good humour. Carmen was also a good friend and I will always value the memory of her sense of fun and of course exquisite style. Very much missed. With great sympathy to her family and saddened that her life has been lost so early.
