It is with great sadness that the family of Alan Eric Fox, 91, born in Woking Surrey on 8th January 1933 has sadly passed away at his home in Holt on 31st May 2024.
Over his lifetime he was an all round sportsman, enjoying cricket as a player and later as an umpire including women's internationals, head teacher of children with special needs, and once retired on many committees including Holt Youth club, Peredur Trust and Community First.
The last few years he has been caring for his wife Susan Fox who was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer's and will not be able to attend the burial or memorial service.
He will be sadly missed by his son Matt and his daughter Helen.
His burial will be on Thursday 27th June at noon at Michael's Wood followed by some light refreshments at Gray Manor Hotel. There will also be a celebration of his life held at the Quaker's meeting House in Devizes on Sunday 7th July at 2pm and there will be an option to join online for this. All are welcome to attend.
