My brother in law David was unique as he used to say. Once in care we became very close. Bear hugs, games, walks, fizzy drinks, sweets and a good old chat.
In return David always advised me to "draw a line and move on". He appreciated regular phone calls to his nephew Jack which made Jack smile with delight. We will miss these calls.
Remembering you with great fondness.

A true brother in every sense, who valued the family unit like no other. Will miss terribly his weekly phone calls, despite his terrible jokes and occasionally breaking into song. He truly had a sincere and genuine interest in how everyone was and rarely bemoaned his most challenging of circumstances.
I very much look forward to seeing him again, free of all his illness and demons, John 5: 28,29
