In loving memory of Dorothy McGowan who sadly passed away peacefully in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on 15th June 2024 aged 91. She was a loving Wife to the late Hugh and Mum of Elizabeth, Gerard, Michael, James, Davina, and the late Mary. She was also a loving Gran, Great-Gran, Great Great-Gran, Sister, Aunt, and Great Friend. The funeral is to be held at the Hurlet Crematorium on Monday 1st July 2024 at 1 pm. Family flowers only but there will be a retiral collection.
All are welcome to attend with the family as we celebrate the extra ordinary woman who was loved by so many.
There are two charities which were very close to her heart. The first is The Include Me 2 Club, who create inclusive opportunities for individuals with additional support needs, disabilities and mental health conditions. She visited their hub once a week for a coffee and a chat with their wonderful staff.
The second charity is The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice who provided wonderful care and amazing support to her daughter Mary, who very sadly passed away earlier this year.
