In loving memory of James Ballard who sadly passed away on 7th June 2024with his wife and family by his side, James was a family man even though he didn't marry until he was 49years old preferring to spend time with his two nephews Chris and Martin., taking them on many of the joinery jobs he was employed on. He worked in the building trade throughout his life and also learned the art of bricklaying , something he had always wanted to do. He then met, fell in love and married Christine marrying her at St Joseph's Church in 1993 and as she had children he became Father to them later Grandfather to their children and laterly great grandad. He remained devoted to his Sister Patricia ,who sadly predeceased him in 2010, and his nephews and then his great nephews Matthew, Ruairi and Odrhan. Loved by all he met he will be sadly missed, James' funeral will 11.30am on Wednesday 3rd July at Oakworth Crematorium followed by a celebration of his life at Oakworth Social Club Chapel Lane Oakworth. The family ask that any donations in memory of James be given to Sue Ryder Manorlands using the just giving page
