The support you gave me when I was younger will never be forgotten.
The laughs we had together, the holidays, the party’s, the advice.
I will always be thankful not just for the funny side but for the kindness you shared.
You were there for my wedding to Lesley and we both have such special memories, these go way back with Don and Mavis as you were a special friend to them too, so much more than we could say, you will be so sadly missed and in our hearts forever.
Hopefully you’re enjoying a pint at the bar in the sky.
Cheers Mick!
With all our love
Anthony & Lesley Milward X

So sad hearing this news. An absolute legend. I had the privilege to have had his company for many years in my pub (a great dancer by the way). You will never be forgotten 💔

Mike was a such a great guy. I remember the juke box he had being passed up and down Thorpe Lea. When his daughter Julia and I used to play on our space hoppers outside their house. The times he was always at football cheering the team on.
He was a larger than life character and Gunthorpe have lost a real village legend.
My condolences to Andrea, Julia and his partner Pat.
Love from Ian x

So sorry to hear this news. Grew up around so many characters, but Michael always stood out. He was a great storyteller and the source of some great stories himself. Love to Andrea and Jules, will remember him with a smile.

Dear Andrea and Julia - I’m so sorry to read of your dad’s passing. As you say, he was always friendly and smiling and I remember him with fondness. Always ready to volunteer when we were fundraising for the school - more years ago than either of us would care to admit.
My sincere condolences to you and all your families. Rest in peace Mike.
