It is with great sadness that we are sharing with you that Brenda Hodgkinson peacefully passed away on Monday 10th June 2024 at the Queen's Hospital in Burton, aged 76 years after a short illness.

Brenda was a devoted wife to Graham, loving mum to Sarah and Emma, and her son in laws Iain and Mark. Adored grandma of her four grandchildren Evie, Harry, Henry and Lucas. We know Brenda will be profoundly missed by all of her family and many friends.

We will be celebrating Brenda's life at 1.30pm on Friday 12th July at Fradley Crematorium, details are linked. The family would appreciate you clicking on the 'attend funeral' button below if you are planning to join them.

There is an option to share your thoughts and, in lieu of flowers, make a donation to the Intensive Care Unit at the Queen's Hospital in Burton to acknowledge the wonderful care that the dedicated medical team provided to Brenda.

The family would love you to join them afterwards at the Dovecliff Hall Hotel, Dovecliff Road, Burton upon Trent DE13 0DJ

We are very sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing. She was a lovely lady, who always had a kind word and a big smile. Brenda always offered encouragement and support to fellow members of the bowling team and will be greatly missed.

Words cannot begin to express our sadness and sorrow at the loss of such a warm, loving, kind and genuine lady who was our neighbour for so many years. Brenda you were always there and the thought of you not being there is hard to believe. We will always have such lovely memories of our times together, those summer evenings on the patio sharing a bottle of wine and those months during lockdown when we would talk through the hedge. So many memories, rest in peace lovely lady xxx
