In loving memory of Amanda Louise Allcock who sadly passed away on 5th June 2024
Amanda was a devoted wife and mother to her children, her passion in life was helping others, and making people feel wanted and valued.
Her smile was infectious and her love for people was clearly shown, once Amanda had touched your heart, you would remember her indefinitely.
Amanda was an avid reader, sitting down with a book or her kindle and a large glass of something was her way of relaxing of an evening.
Amanda was always happy, however whenever she walked into her local TUI store to book an holiday she was at her happiest, second this with climbing those aeroplane steps to go away on holiday with her family , then ready to sit down and order a bottle of Prosecco was Amanda’s happy place and her holiday had begun
Nottinghamshire Down’s syndrome dance warriors was a new group that Amanda loved going to, with one of her daughters, and also adding Abbey Primary School Friends of Abbey group was an active activity Amanda enjoyed helping raise many thousands of pounds to benefit all children at the school
Being with her family, and creating memories, and making sure her children never wanted for anything encompassed Amanda’s values and beliefs, this with her fascination and collection of flamingo memorabilia summed Amanda up perfectly

Such a shame that such a wonderful person has been taken away from her family and friends at such a young age. I have known Amanda for about 50 years from being really young girls. So many memories of doing all sorts of crazy things whilst we were growing up. Sleep tight Amanda you will be really missed.
