In loving memory of Brenda Deadman who sadly passed away on 18th May 2024
Brenda Mary Rose Deadman was born on the 29th October 1931 to Stan and Doris Alp.
Growing up in Great Wakering, Brenda liked to be involved in many clubs. This was something she carried on doing all through her life. She was president of the local WI, run the old people’s days out with Lenny, flower club and was involved in many activities in the village. Brenda worked for a solicitor’s in Southend and enjoyed the literacy challenges of her job. Brenda loved quizzes and mentally challenging herself throughout her life. After marrying her childhood sweetheart, Brenda and Lenny were married for many years and the light of their lives were their son’s Richard and Andrew. Then came their four grandchildren, Daniel, Darren, Jenny and Adam. Brenda was at her happiest when she was with her family. Two great grandchildren also came along in Oscar and Thomas. Brenda was 92 when she passed away but lived a full and happy life.
She will always be remembered in not only her families
hearts but all the friends she knew round the village.
