Funeral to take place at Holy Trinity Church, Wordsley on Monday 24th June 2024 at 3:30pm.
Guests are kindly requested to arrive at 3:00pm and be seated by 3:15pm.
Family flowers only - donations to one of John's chosen charities for those who wish to do so.
Compassion In World Farming is a charity that many of you may not have heard of; it is focused on ending cruelty to farmed animals and is close to John's heart, not least because his granddaughter, Alex, is a fundraiser. The other charities speak for themselves.
Refreshments afterwards at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Football Club from 5:00pm.

Meeting John and spending many happy times with him were some of the most pleasurable experiences of my life !!
I feel priviliged to have been the member of the same football team , BSC Cookley Works and after Handrahan Timbers FC . In fact I am honoured to have crossed the ball to Smudger who then dived to head in a wonder goal !! He said it was the best goal he had ever scored !!!
Rest in Peace my Special Friend and I am sure you will grace even Heaven
