In loving memory of Kurt Malcolm Nunn who sadly passed away on 8th June 2024.

Kurt was born to Maureen and Terry on the 14th August 1968. With his younger brother Aidan, he grew up in Dover attending St Mary's Primary School and the Castlemount Secondary School.

In the summer of 1993 Kurt and Lynda met through mutual friends, a friendship quickly developed and this soon turned to love. Setting up home together by the end of that year, eventually marrying in October 1998, they were inseparable. Being the proud father of two sons, Adam and Thomas, Kurt was very devoted to his family.

Over this life Kurt developed a strong circle of friends.
Family and friends were always important to Kurt.

We have chosen the charity, Last Chance Animal Rescue, to remember Kurt. Over the last 30 years many pets have been part of the family, the first cat coming from a Sanctuary nearby in 1995. After that Last Chance provided a number of pets to join us, all being given that second chance at a family life. All were loved unconditionally by Kurt and it seems fitting to recognise their excellent work in his memory. So, there is no expectation, but if you wish to donate, we will be grateful, and ask that flowers are not sent to the funeral. These will be provided by family only.

Friends and family are all welcome to join us to celebrate Kurt's life on the 4th July. We will start with a service of thanks at Barham Crematorium at 11am. Afterwards, moving on to The Whitfield Club, 14 Napchester Road, Whitfield, Dover CT16 3JD to share our memories of such an amazing individual.

Today we remember the amazing man I am proud to have had in my life for over 30 years. Celebrating a life full of love and helping others, even from a young age. There are no words to truly explain how much I love you, my world, my best friend. My arms are empty, but my heart is full of the love you gave to me. Your Annie xx xx

I'm so sorry for your loss. Kurt was among the kindest, most generous, sensitive and intelligent people that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was utterly unique and the world was a more interesting place with him in it. He is a huge loss, but we gained so much just from knowing him - it was just too briefly. He may have passed from our sight, but not from our minds. He'll always be there... probably fixing something...
