In loving memory of June Margaret Dewey who sadly passed away on 28th May 2024 aged 93-years. June was the most caring of mothers to four sons David, Nicholas, Steven and Jonathan, a sister to Liz Hawthorn, brother in-law to John Hawthorn and an auntie to Christian Hawthorn. A grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of eight. June overcame some incredibly difficult challenges in life to go on and enjoy a positive career in the Nottingham Law Society, travelling far and wide across the world, run a half-marathon, and enjoyed her love of historical groups. Loved by all her knew her, and will be painfully missed by all her loving family.
June was a long term member of Nottingham u3a. She was an extremely active member, ran several groups, contributed to other groups and for a long time was vice chair.
June was very well liked and respected for her kindness and loyalty. She eventually was made an honorary member as an appreciation for all her work.
