In loving memory of Gary Hopkins who sadly passed away on 29th May 2024 aged 46 years.
Son of Valerie and William Hopkins both sadly deceased he is survived by his sister Kerry and half brother David.
Although born with learning disabilities he loved to get out and about on his own and have his own independence.
He loved visiting the local villages out and about in Brompton and pickering. He loved seeing different churches and going to the scare crow festival at Muston.
In the last few years he has lived at Webb Ellis Court in newby supported by various careers including Phill Woods.
Although quite a private person he liked to stop and chat to those he knew and was a real character around the town.
He will be missed by all who knew and met him.
So sorry to learn that Gary passed away recently. In years gone by he and Valerie often came to the Brompton Village Hall lunches and would make an afternoon of it with a visit to the church. He will be missed here, sincerely sympathy to his family.
