On 3rd June 2024, in hospital, aged 61 years, Kathy, loved life partner of Dean and precious mum of Matty, beloved daughter of the late Mr Derek & Mrs Doris Longden and remembered with much love by Mr Derrick & Mrs Rita Woodhead, loving sister of Gill and Rick and a dearly loved auntie.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 26th June 2024 at 2.45pm. Family and friends please gather at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Dear Kathy, we’ve had some great times, always laughing and talking absolute nonsense but the biggest thing we have in common is never accept any bubbles that aren’t champagne… we deserve it ! Have a few up there my friend, second best for you is not an options.

So sorry to hear about Kathy's passing.
I just found out from our dear friend Ann.
We worked together at CAH and The Ida.
She was a fantastic nurse, very compassionate and I always enjoyed working with her. Though I can't be there in person for the service, I will be thinking of her.

Kathy was such a larger than life character who I first met when working as a health care worker. I don’t think Kathy would remember be but I most definitely remember her for the kindness she showed me and for being a guiding light. I’m so very sorry for your loss! Wishing the family healing and sending love during this hard time
