Donations in lieu of flowers for the benefit of Age UK Nottingham.
Dad was originally from Shoeburyness, Essex but Dad was destined to spend most of his life in and around Nottingham. As a child during the second World War he was evacuated to Mansfield, during 1940 - 1942, after which he returned home. Later, whilst serving in the RAF he was stationed at Wymeswold and during an evening in Nottingham met Jean Eite at the Victoria Ballrooms. They later married and enjoyed a long marriage living in Forest Fields and later in Arnold.
Dad lost Mum in 2010 and missed her terribly. He lived to the end of his life in their family home. Dad found the last year or two more difficult, but never complained, remaining cheerful and grateful.
We will miss you Dad,
With Love and Thanks, from us all xxxxx
