Promoted to glory I'd the only footing term for a man like Allen. Quietly inspirational, funny, kind, caring. You will be so missed but we're grateful for you and know you're in the arms of Jesus. Sending much love to all the family. X

We adore you Grandad. Thank you for your humour and bravery, you have taught us so much and most importantly how to love and be loved. Thank you for being the best Dad to my Mum, Husband to my Grandma and a Dad to my Dad when he needed you. You are the light in darkness and so much I have achieved is down to you, your determination and your positivity. I will miss you every single day until we meet again but I promise to look after Mum, Dad & Grandma.
