Carol Ann Williams (nee Wesley) grew up on Churchill Street in Old Lenton, Nottingham. Daughter to George and Barbara, and sister to Wendy, she attended Lenton Voluntary School and Cottesmore School. After leaving education, she worked briefly at Martin’s as a machinist.

In her late teens the Wesley family moved across Nottingham to the new Bestwood Park Estate. She married husband Geoff in 1963 and lived variously in Rise Park, Daybrook and Arnold. Carol worked in local restaurants and as a Care Assistant.

A loving wife, mother and doting grandmother, Carol loved walking and the outdoors... especially in the company of doggie friends Bertie and Hugo. Carol sadly passed away at Church Farm Care Home, Cotgrave on 26th May 2024 and will be very much missed.
