David Connelly (30 Aug 1948 - 30 May 2024)

An absolute legend of a man, David's kindness and warmth were constants in my life as I grew up. As a close friend of my dad, he was a great part of my childhood. I will always remember the New Year parties and some amazing football experiences, I shared with Davie in the 80s and 90s when I was just a kid. His gentle spirit and genuine nature will forever be remembered. Thinking of his voice and mannerisms just makes me smile....... He'll always be looking down on his amazing family. God Bless you Mr Connelly you were truly one of the best.xxxx

One of life's most decent gentleman now at peace, God rest your soul DAVIE, a real true blue bear a pleasure to have known big man, sleep well.

Thinking of you all at this sad time . I remember when he used to come in from labour club sozzled and your ma gave me the babysitting money and he always gave me extra on the sly 😂😂
