So sad my eldest sister is no longer with us. I have lovely memories of her during my younger years as well as later in my adult life. These memories will be with me forever.

I will always remember Thelma’s friendly welcomes, loving heart and kind smiley face.
My fondest memory of Thelma was -swinging her legs constantly whilst having her hair cut. This happened because I am tall and needed her to sit on a high stool. I giggle each time I think of this!
My thoughts are with all the family, but am sure the happy memories will carry you all through the difficult times ahead. Thelma will be greatly missed by me.
Sending love

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Thelma but also pleased to know she is safe with the Lord. She and Johnny worked so hard for the Lord and had such a loving and caring ministry, particularly to those who needed it the most. Such fond memories of this wonderful lady xxx

Sad news, but comfort in knowing she is with the Lord now. Very fond memories of the warm and generous hospitality show by Johnny & Thelma when I was much younger - taking me into their Hewson Road home on snowy nights so's I didn't have to motorcycle the 25 miles to Coningsby. Thelma was so gentle and gracious with a good helping of North-Eastern common sense.
Sadly, we won't be able to make the funeral, but our thoughts, condolences and prayers are with the lovely family.
