In loving memory of Rosemary Ann Lye-Harris, who sadly passed away on 22nd May 2024. Rosemary was born in April 1936 in Folkestone to Kay and Graham Hills, she had two sisters Sheila and Jenny. She continued to live in Folkestone after a short spell as a trainee nurse at the Middlesex Hospital in London, and in 1957 she married her beloved husband David at St. Mary's & St. Eanswythe's Church, Folkestone. Following David's untimely death aged 57 in 1989, Rosemary re-married and moved to Etchinghill with her husband Philip Harris, who sadly passed away suddenly in 2009 aged 85. In 2011 she moved to and remained in Hythe, a neighbourhood she loved and in which she was much loved and remained, supported by her kind neighbours and close family friends George and Frances.

Rosemary was very passionate about her family, as mother to Sue, Alison, Chris and Patrick, grandmother to Simon, Caroline, James, Robert and Philip and Granny Romie to her great-grandchildren Alana, Joshi, Cristhian, Oli, Jack, Josephine, Vivienne, Annabelle, and her most recent great-grandson Archie, born only a few days after Rosemary's passing.

As in life, Rosemary died surrounded and supported by her loving family, her devoted carer Grace and her two little dogs Daisy and Bella. Her passing was not unexpected following a diagnosed of cancer, but the timing was verty unexpected because right up to the day she died, she was her usual positive, chirpy self, so her family although sad, are reconciled that her parting was swift and pain free, and her final wishes to remain at home was ulimately fullfilled.
