Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on May 26th aged 82 years, Eric. The beloved husband of the late Elsie and adored fiancé of Jean. The much-loved dad of Alison, the late Nigel and dear father-in-law of Gary. The loving granda and best friend of Jack, James and a good friend of many. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten.

Family and friends please meet on Friday June 14th for service in St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Houghton-le-Spring at 10:30am, committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for The Bobby Robson Foundation & The Phoenix Unit in Sunderland Royal Hospital. A donation box will be available at the crematorium. Please join the family afterwards in Houghton Rugby Club for refreshments.
